Euromix™ Extreme High Build

Euromix™ Extreme Highbuild render is an innovative, lightweight, high-build polymer modified levelling compound engineered using 100% recycled eco-aggregates. It is one third the weight per square metre of traditional base coat renders. It is designed for use as a base coat with superior coverage and can be built up to 50mm in a single coat. Euromix™ Extreme Highbuild can be applied over substrates, like autoclaved aerated concrete blocks / panels (AAC), fibre cement sheeting (FC), off-form concrete and expanded polystyrene sheet (EPS) / NRG green board surfaces.

Euromix™ Extreme Highbuild is a premium pre-blended render that requires the addition of water only. Manufactured with 100% recycled aggregate, it provides an environmentally responsible solution without compromising quality. Its lightweight formulation offers excellent workability.

General Direction For Use

Ensure that all elements to be rendered have been constructed and fixed in accordance with the project plans / specifications and the substrate manufacturer’s recommendations. The substrate should be dry and free of any material that may affect the ability of the Euromix™ Extreme Highbuild to adhere to the surface (dirt, dust, mould oils, loose friable material, etc.).

Mask windows and architectural trim elements before applying render. Floor and adjacent walling materials should be protected against spills and splashes by plastic film or similar.

Mixing the Render

One bag of Euromix™ Extreme Highbuild will yield approximately three

15-litre pails of mixed material. Euromix™ Extreme Highbuild render's content is designed to enable the render to be mixed using water only. For smaller batches, add approximately 4 litres of clean, potable water to a 15-litre pail, then gradually add one-third of the Euromix™ Extreme Highbuild bag while mixing with a suitable power mixing drill until a smooth, lump-free consitency is achieved. To mix a full bag of Euromix™ Extreme Highbuild, place approximately 10-12 litres of clean water into a 40-litre mixing container, then slowly add the entire contents of the bag while continuously mixing. Allow the mix to stand for 2-3 minutes before application, then remix briefly if require prior to use.

Allow the wet render to ‘stand’ for 3 minutes after first mixing, then remix to achieve consistent slurry. The render is now ready for application. One 15 Kg bag of Euromix™ LWHB Render requires @ 5 litres of water in mixing.

Typical Application Method

Apply Euromix™ Extreme Highbuild using a clean hawk and trowel or suitable mechanical spray pumping equipment. Place the material at a thickness to fill irregularities and achieve the required wall alignment. Apply Euromix™ Extreme Highbuild in layers of 6mm-50mm thicknesses. It can be levelled using an aluminium straight edge to achieve a flat and even finish. Allow the render to dry before carrying out any subsequent finishing coats.

Set time will depend on substrate, moisture, applied thicknesses and weather conditions. Allow at least 24-72 hours between coats.

Curing

Rapid drying of the surface can cause cracking and result in a low strength / friable render. Do not apply Euromix™ Renders when conditions will be above 35ºC, especially if windy. Do not attempt to apply when the temperature is below 10ºC or where the chill factor is high. Ensure that the curing render is protected from rain, extreme frosts and other sources of excess moisture. The drying and curing times are given as a guide only (for normal weather conditions, at 25ºC and 50% RH.

Surface dry

Twelve (12) hours (depending on applied thickness).

Recoat with render

Three (3) days (depending on applied thickness).

Texture & Paint

Three (3) days for acrylic texture & paints. Twenty-one (21) days for oil / alkyd-based paints.
