Euromix™ Masonry Finishing System
Euromix™ offers a wide range of different render and texture solutions for finishing over all types of Masonry Substrates such as Bricks, Blocks, Concrete etc.
System Scope
The Euromix™ Masonry system summarised here covers;
Euromix™ Renders are designed for use as a decorative finish. They are not to be used in ‘engineered’ applications where special strength, movement, hardness, or other performance characteristics are required.
Masonry / Brick System Option 1
KEYCOAT
Non Porous System (NPS) Keycoat Render formulated as base coat of difficult substrates over smooth concrete, painted surfaces and fibre cement sheeting (fc board). Suitable for both interior and exterior use
RENDER
A quick curing, high strength premixed render which offers the use as a base coat, and top coat. Euromix™ FP Render is AS1530.1 compliant and requires no A dry premixed render that only requires the addition of water, no bond required.
TEXTURE COATING OR PAINT
It is recommended to use a Texture Coating to enhance aesthetics for finishing and provide flexibility to the system. Can be tinted to colour of choice.
Masonry / Brick System Option 2
BASE RENDER
Euromix™ Render is a multipurpose render, suitable for use both as a base coat where finishing renders, texture coats etc. or architectural finishes (like tiles) are to be applied and as a finish coat, where a high-quality sponge finish is required. It can be applied by hand or by machine, in layers ranging from 4mm to 8mm at a time.
BASE RENDER
Euromix™ Cream Render is a multipurpose render, suitable for use both as a base coat where finishing renders, texture coats, etc. or architectural finishes (like tiles) are to be applied and as a finish coat, where a high-quality sponge finish is required. It can be applied by hand or by machine, in layers ranging from 4mm to 8mm at a time.
Drying and curing of the product is affected by type, dryness and porosity of the surface, temperature, humidity, ventilation, climate conditions and application technique and therefore drying and curing can only be given as a guide (at 25C & 50% RH):
Touch Dry
Thirty (30) - sixty (60) minutes, depending on thickness.
Recoat
Twenty four (24) hours
