Euromix™ Ultra-Grip Primer is a specialised bonding primer developed to improve adhesion on smooth, dense and non-absorbent surfaces. When mixed with Grey Portland Cement (GP), it produces a reinforced, textured base that enhances grip and stability for subsequent coatings. Suitable for substrates such as PVC, metal, glazed masonry, fibre cement (FC) and high-density concrete. Euromix™ Ultra-Grip Primer promotes reliable bonding where conventional primers may struggle. Applied by roller or brush, the primer creates a consistent, keyed surface ready for the application of Euromix™ render systems, textures and finishes.
Product Summary
Euromix™ Ultra-Grip Primer is a polymer-modified, high adhesion primer designed for use on dense, smooth and non-porous substrates. When combined with Grey Portland (GP) Cement, Euromix™ Ultra-Grip Primer forms a textured, high build bonding layer that promotes strong adhesion for subsequent Euromix™ renders, textures and paints. Suitable for internal and external use as a prime coat for difficult substrates where enhanced adhesion is required.
Product Name
Euromix™ Ultra-Grip Primer
Packaging
15 litre plastic buckets.
Appearance
In the bucket Euromix™ Ultra-Grip Primer appears as a viscous liquid. After mixing with Grey Portland (GP) Cement and application, Euromix™ Ultra-Grip Primer dries to a textured, light grey stippled finish.
Application
It is recommended that the Primer be thoroughly mixed prior to application. Add approximately 3kg of Grey Portland (GP) Cement per 15L pail and mix using a mechanical stirrer until a uniform, lump-free consistency is achieved.
Do not dilute Euromix™ Ultra-Grip Primer.
The Primer can be applied by using a texture roller or long nap roller to achieve a consistent stippled finish. Only one coat of Euromix™ Ultra-Grip Primer is required.
It is imperative that a 'wet edge' is maintained at all times.
Avoid applications in wingy conditions or in temperatures outside the range 10°C to 35°C. Protect freshly applied material from rain and moisture for a minimum of 12-24 hours.
Do not apply if rain or frost is imminent or possible before the product has properly dried. Painting over wet or damp substrates will most often result in some form of failure, including possible discolouration and / or peeling.
Where rain is likely after the application of Euromix™ Ultra-Grip Primer, it is required that the coating be shielded from moisture getting onto the finished surface (and into the substrate) for at least 24 hours.
Drying and Curing
Drying and curing of the product is affected by substrate type, porosity, temperature, humidity and ventilation. Drying and curing times are provided as a guide only and are based on 25°C & 50% relative humidity (RH)
Touch Dry
Two to four minutes (2-4 hrs).
Recoat
Twenty four (24) hours.
Euromix™ Primers and Paints not only provide the colour for your wall or ceiling finish, they also improve the functionality of the finish system.

Euromix™ Render is a multipurpose render, suitable for use both as a base coat where finishing renders, texture coats, etc. or architectural finishes (like tiles) are to be applied and as a finish coat, where a high quality sponge finish is required. It can be applied by hand or by machine, in layers ranging from 4mm to 8mm at a time.

Euromix FP Render is a dry mix, full polymer, cement based render formulated for application over sheet and panel substrates, like, autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC),expanded polystyrene (EPS), fibre cement (FC) and plaster based materials. Euromix FP Render is mixed with water only (no added Bond). When used as a base coat, Euromix FP Render can be applied up to 3-4 mm thick in one coat (over masonry and similar solid substrates).

Euromix™ Cream Render is a multipurpose render, suitable for use both as a base coat where finishing renders, texture coats, etc. or architectural finishes (like tiles) are to be applied and as a finish coat, where a high quality sponge finish is required. It can be applied by hand or by machine, in layers ranging from 4mm to 8mm at a time.

Euromix™ NPS Base Render is a dry mix, full polymer, cement based render formulated for application over non porous sheet and panel substrates, like, autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC), expanded polystyrene (EPS), fibre cement (FC) and plaster based materials. Euromix™ NPS Base Render is mixed with water only (no added Bond).

Euromix™ LWHB Render is a lightweight dry mix, full polymer, cement based render formulated for use where a high build finish is required. Euromix™ LWHB can be applied over most masonry and sheet and panel substrates, like, autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC), expanded polystyrene (EPS) and fibre cement (FC). Euromix™ LWHB Render is mixed with water only (no added Bond required).
