Euromix™ Acrylic Primer is an acrylic polymer primer that is designed to penetrate and seal most substrates, prior to the application of Euromix finishing coatings. Euromix Acrylic Primer can be used over off-form concrete, cement based renders, fibre cement sheeting, polystyrene, PVC brick and block work.
Preparation
Ensure that alkaline surfaces have aged for twenty-eight (28) days minimum. All surfaces must be sound, stable, dry, clean and free of dust, loose, flaking, friable material and substances that may diminish adhesion. Surface imperfections should be repaired prior to coating to achieve a good result and desired finish.
Mask or otherwise protect windows, trims adjacent areas against spills and splashes (with tape, plastic film or similar).
Prior to application thoroughly stir the Primer, in the bucket, using a power stirrer.
Avoid applying Euromix™ Primer in windy conditions or in temperatures outside the range 16C to 26C. Keep newly coated areas protected from rain and moisture for at least twelve (12) hours, longer in the lower temperature range. Do not apply if rain or frost is imminent or possible before the product has properly dried.
Painting over wet or damp substrates will most often result in some form of failure, including possible discolouration and / or colour variation and peeling.

If needed Euromix™ Acrylic Primer can be tinted to match the colour of the finishing top coats.
Drying and Curing
Drying and curing of the product is affected by type and porosity of the surface, temperature, humidity, ventilation, climate conditions and application technique and therefore drying and curing can only be given as a guide (at 25C & 50% RH):
Touch Dry
Twenty to sixty minutes (20-60 min).
Recoat
Two (2) hours.

Euromix Render is a multipurpose render, suitable for use both as a base coat where finishing renders, texture coats, etc. or architectural finishes (like tiles) are to be applied and as a finish coat, where a high quality sponge finish is required. It can be applied by hand or by machine, in layers ranging from 2mm to 6mm at a time.
Euromix FP Render is a dry mix, full polymer, cement based render formulated for application over sheet and panel substrates, like, autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC),expanded polystyrene (EPS), fibre cement (FC) and plaster based materials. Euromix FP Render is mixed with water only (no added Bond). When used as a base coat, Euromix FP Render can be applied up to 3-4 mm thick in one coat (over masonry and similar solid substrates).
